A/C Compressor question

I have a 1990 (was SOHC) Fastback and I've had an SR20DET installed. I need to buy an A/C Compressor that will work with my new engine. I don't want to mess with custom brackets. What year compressor do I need to buy? Does it have to be from another S13 (91-93), or can I buy a compressor from a S14? Is there a difference?

Get one from the 91-94 year models. It will line up with two bolts. I can't remember if you'll have to change the lines though for it to fit your car.

As yellow jacket mentioned you will have to change the a/c lines. It starting to get hot here so i will have my new lines built next week.

I would just roll down the window and forget a/c but that only lets in 90+ degree air.
