A/c compressor issure

Can i take it off and if so how do i go about doing this..

the pump has to go anyway because it's busted... will not turn. i've been wanting to take the system off since i first got the vehicle tho

Remove the compressor, lines, and any other hardware. I do not believe that there are any other components on that belt drive.

The alternator also runs off that belt, so you would need to get a custom belt that bypassed the A/C compressor.

i bypassed the ac and took everything off correctly... then while going home the outter ring of my crank pulley decided to free itself... any ideas on what causes this.. 2nd time this has happened
