99 Q45

Bearing in A/C pulley making noise....(still blow ice cold). Is it worth pulling clutch and pulley off compressor...pressing out and in new bearing or just biting the bullet and purchase a reman or used compressor? I hate to R&R compressor off vehicle and evac and recharge upon change out, (not to mention the horror stories involved in shoe horning the compressor in and out of compartment). There is some room in front of compressor to work.....

Anyone have any experience or suggestions?

Bearings in A/C compressors are typically replaceable, so you shouldn't have to swap it out for another compressor.
Just make sure it isn't the idler pulley, and it actually is the compressor with a failed bearing.
