A/C comes on every time engine is started

We just bought a 2011 Altima 2.5S. Everything works well, except a very annoying problem with the ventilation system:

EVERY time the car is started, the ventilation system comes up with the vent on the "floor" setting with the A/C on. This is regardless of the setting of the system at the time the engine was turned off last. This is not normal as I have never seen this in any other car, and it is not written in the owner's manual.

Does anybody know what is going on? Took it to the dealer, who kept the car overnight, put a scratch on it, and said that the system is operating as designed.

Problem Fixed. The "transport fuse" mentioned on page 8-26 of the owner's manual was not fully inserted into the fusebox.

Thanks for the info. I had the same problem. Probably some of the dealers does not care enough to know they should fix that before hand over the car to us.
