Im not sure about the ka24de (assuming thats what you have) but on the kae, the belt runs through ac compressor, a pulley and crank pulley if I remember correctly. Then again i have lightweight crankpulley and different belts. Anyways, if you have the time, while ur at it, save yourself some weight ang pull out the ac compressor, lines and ac fan. I was surprised how much the ac compressor weighes.

Sounds wierd. So you're telling me you have a belt that runs from the left side of ur engine where the alternator goes through the crank pulley and across to the right side of the engine to the a/c compressor? Have you ever changed your belts?

My a/c belt went from the crank pulley the the compressor pulley. I removed the a/c belt when i unstalled my lightweight pulley. A/c never worked so it really doesn't bother me.
