I got some A/C advice from someone at an A/C repair shop the other day that I thought I would throw out here for comments. The A/C compressor in my '89 240SX cycles on and off at varying intervals. I asked about it a few months ago here. The info I got here was that it should only cycle if it was low on freon/oil. The A/C guy said that it was normal for it to cycle, and that if didn't cycle, it could freeze up. He said not to be concerned with the cycling and that I should only get concerned if the A/C can no longer keep me comfortably cool. What do you all think?

Yup, sounds like good info to me. If the compressor doesn't cycle, the system can get too cold and it will freeze up.
