Where I left off:

Been working on this car for the past 1.5 months exclusively on the weekends. Progress is pretty slow going it seems but we're taking our time and doing things the right way. I expect around 300 wheel out of this thing when it's done as it already has BC II cams and a nice little tune on it. More to come next weekend. i like your work, ic bracket looks legit. Are you going with the gulflames or keeping the sportmaxes? and keep your eye on those upper radiator clamps, i never had good luck with those kind.

The sr20 swap is easy and fun. I had fun doing it and it looks like you're

obviously having fun with it. Like you said, take your time on it.

Kudos! Two big up.

A wha?

Upper radiator hose clamps will be changed to a t-bolt. They're a bit overkill but I have them laying around so why not use 'em? The Gravity wheels were never mine, I was just storing them in the garage/Lincoln for a friend.

Doing a proper wire tuck to where it's still easy to get to and functional is more difficult than I expected. So far, most of the time has been consumed with that project. We're always doing little detail work along the way as well, trying to make this car stand out in a subtle fashion.

yeah i figured you would be changing the clamps and stuff out cause it looks like a good quality build up. The gulflames wouldve flowed well with the round zenki front though, good luck with the rest.

The last pic caught me off guard, but I'm sure it's going to look sweet when it's done. Mind telling what happened to the KA? (I'm in the market)

Whoa when did s14 zenk front decision take place. Have been too busy replacing my headgasket to follow your build on TR. Man that chuki front was so clean I wish I could have got it.

KA was sold before it was out. It was a sweetheart of a motor as well, ran great with its new timing chain/tensioner, brand new OEM injectors (!) and water pump.

I'm not totally sold on the S14 front. I might go pignose w/sil hood after all is said and done. Anybody have a Silvia hood for sale?

Car is looking really good.

I don't have an Silvia hood for sale but I am wondering if those mudflaps are oem? If they are, are you willing to sell? Sorry for thread jack.

They're OEM and staying on the car. I'm a mudflap enthusiast. :D

I made it. It's basically aluminum bar stock, two custom bent/cut brackets and as many OEM fasteners as I could find. I was thinking that I should have polished the aluminum but black looks much more trick IMHO. I'm going to replace the crappy Taiwan bolts with pan-head stainless allens. When it comes down to it, I'm going to replace all of the fender/misc hardware with the same because I'm tired of snapping rusty 10mm bolts.

It's been a while and I've been busy, sorry for no updates for a while. Hang on to your shorts, here come some shots:

Intercooler piping is mostly done:

Got a groovy new coilpack cover:

Oil catch can is done, lines re-thought. Since the bottle is ridiculous in and of itself, I treated the inlet/outlet lines with the same respect. Has a 1-way check valve as well:

Firewall garbage done:

Wire tuck complete:

Bumper trimming mostly done. Just a few little areas to take care of but I'm pretty happy with it overall:

Fin for now:

I change my mind too often. I'm sticking with the piggie nose, obtaining a Silvia hood and I'm going to make my own headlight housings based off of J30 projectors. I think it'll look really pissed off that way.

Also, I can do the seafoam over gray 2-tone I've always wanted.
