A brand Newbie question

I am about to crush the myth of there is no such thing as a stupid question. I recently changed my battery and the cable ends. Now the car (300zx 1990 Non Turbo) is not saying anything. I was told that I may have blown one of the BIG fuses. Okay, what is the BIG fuse and where is it located on the car so I can check it?

Welcome to Nico!there si a sort of panel located on the passanger side fender it's a large flat black plastic thing, and should have a rather larger diameter wider going into it on one side (10 ga ?) open it up and have a look

Mine is behind the shock tower on the passenger side (well, driver side since its jdm) however my battery is on the opposite site on mine, so i'm not 100% sure if the power distrobution center would be in the same spot as the usdm... can somebody confirm?
