ok..i was running around the forums reading up on some stuff, and i noticed alot of you guys mentioning that you guys vent your bovs into the air,now with a car that is equipped with a MAF wouldnt that make the car sputter or stall out in between shifts...because the ecu is seeing the metered air and then when the bov does its thing it actually richens up the mix because of what it did? Also have any of you ditched the maf and went with a speed density set up?

I run around on a atmo BOV and MAF, hardly ever have any problems. Recirculating will make it run better.

I run an atmospheric BOV and MAF also, never had any real problems, but a recirculated BOV will give you better gas millage.

i run an atmospheric bov as well and yea, the ar will stall every now and then....but only upon heavy acceleration....and in the city you don't do to much of that so it really doesn't make that much difference

i run an atmospheric BOV and i was wondering if it is partially the reason why it sometimes gets really laggy when shifting? also wouldnt it account for a bit of a rough idle? i know my current clutch problem contributes to the lag between shifts, but im just curious if my BOV has much of anything to do with it...
