I've lost my drivers side "Limited Edition" vinyl. Can someone maybe take a rubbing of theirs and scan it. then maybe i can find a shop to re-create it.

i've seen a passenger side somewhere on here, but if i used that it would be leaning the wrong way.

gracias

I think one of the members made it and sold it here. Some should be able to dig up the link. He owns an orange vert.

yeah, if we are talking about the same guy i tracked him down awhile back and emailed him thru his blog. He told me he wasn't making anymore...i think that is the same thread where i saw the rubbing of the passenger side.

Krash: if your car is also missing the drivers side LE, i would assume our car lives a double life

dude, the shot of the vert in your sig looks EXACTLY like the rear of my car. My car has the EXACT same bumper damage, and the white wax spots too.

just wanted to jump in and say I am also looking for these decals as I am about to paint my car soon and wanted some fresh ones.

Also: I have the same rear bumper damage/discoloration on the exact same place, but my car is black.

i guess a favor is a bit much to ask. how about $5 paypal dollars to the person that goes down to their car and tapes a piece of paper to it, grabs a pencil and takes a good legible rubbing of the drivers side limited edition, and can scan it and send it to [email protected] with your username.

i don't know how many if any will jump on this, so i guess i can only award it to the best submission.

If my softball game is cancelled tonight I'll try to do this for you, no charge. Hmmm, wonder if I even have a pencil.
Also if you could find a place to recreate both sides you could sell them easily.

sorry, i should have said pencil rubbing in the first get go..

$5 offer still stands if (you) want it. if ya'll are feeling like thats much, you can also do a rubbing of the passenger side that way i don't have to do it. that way i will be paying for a favor and my laziness.

thanks to all

Tried to do this last night. Many issues. The section is longer than 12", so bigger than paper. Since it's sunk in, hard to rub and looks bad.

My home computer also crashed and I lost everything, that didn't help yesterday.

Best chance is to take pics/measurements and take to a vinyl shop. Its going to be hard and expensive to set up for both sides.

Sharkerio_coupe was making custom vinyl stickers and I believe some one got it there. Just post in there, or email him.

Tell him to make a new thread in here if he wants to sell some. Post pics of them.

I certainly have no problem with someone selling them if they are good quality and can exactly replace the stock ones as we have no current replacements.

Thanks

It's really hard to install them right. I'd suggest using soapy water just like you install tint film. Without soapy water, once you apply it there's no way to align it right. Just be extra careful.
