Im new to the forums here and any help would be greatly appreaceated. anyway, to the story... I was driving one night and without see it through the pitch black i hit a VARY large bump (thought it was a brick or tire at first). Going back, i see what seems to be a medium sized dog... nope, upon closer inspection i see the flapper of a beaver. it had made its last few steps to the side of road by the time i got there.

After being able to drive home for an hour, the next morning my car turns over but fails to start... i checked the fuel pressure, its good. i checked for spark, its good. my best guess is some kind of failure in the injectors. i reciently replaced the #3 injector after it went bad TWICE. the first replacement was refurbished, so that may not be saying much. Anyway, i really hope someone can help with this situation so i dont have to rent a flatbed and haul it to a shop. thank you.

oh yeah, my car is a 1993 240sx SE with a replaced KA24... that might help.

If anyone knows how to test injectors without the car running that would help too.

pull the injector clips off the injectors and use a multimeter to check for proper voltage pulses going to each clip.

If you are getting spiking voltage while trying to turn the engine over, then thats good

Pull the whole fuel rail complete with injectors and put cups underneatht he injectors and try starting it... if they dont spray then the injectors themselves are done

make sure you pull the ignition fuse

don't see how running over an animal will kill your fuel injectors. look for something more obvious than that. look under your car and look for damage to your fuel tank and fuel lines

God hates you for killing his creatures. Your 240 is damned forever...

But yea, why not check what has been failing on your car, i.e. injectors. Tried checking the spark plugs to see if they are white or black or smell of burnt gasoline?
