A 2.5 with a V6 Engine????

I Got my coupe on Saturday. I just put the hood up to see the engine, and as I look its a V6 in my 2.5 Coupe!!!! lol!!! It says 2.5 on the back of my car, but its a V6!!! It did seem fast for what I was driving!! LOL !!! Thats odd. What do you think happened? i've never came across something like this! ?

The reality of this actually be true is very very very slim to none. Something like this cannot happen. There are too many factors preventing such a screw up at the factory etc. I'll believe it when I see it (IF)

I don't think i'd believe it with pictures. its not hard to take a pic of the backend emblem of one car and the front end of another. Not to mention swapping emblems. I would want to see a VIN, engine, and invoice all in the same picture. and NOT photo-choped.

How much did you pay for the car? It's either a serious mistake from Nissan (which I doubt) or a wrong badge (also somewhat unlikely). You need to take better pictures for proof.

only way this is happening is if someone rebadged their 3.5 with 2.5 badging. But who would want to pretend to be a 2.5 when they have a 3.5? most 2.5ers will just de-badge the car completely so no one can really tell its the baby

I only debadged the ALTIMA badging. I left the 3.5SE V6 badging on. I dont even race civics anymore. Only if I can tell its definately fast. I dont like people thinking my car has a 4cyl in it.

Hey Shift,..it's been WAAAAAY past 24 hours. No pics yet of his alleged 2.5 / 3.5 A/C. Maybe he uploaded himself into cyber space. Either way, the guys full of crap and there's noway Nissan would make that kind of mistake. I have the 3.5 with prem & tech and I debadge the whole car except for the front emblem in the grill. Believe me, I f I could take that off and replace the grill I would...and I'm still scheming in my engineering head on how to do it and do it tastefully. I want it NICE,..not RICE!

does he even have turn signals on the mirror, because only the v6 model altimas get that. maybe he just cant read, cuz i highly doubt any 2.5 will be a V6, unless he is in a different country and it has the VQ25DE in it, but again that is highly unlikely.
