!997 Nissan Pickup Wierd Idle Problem

I am having a very weird idle problem with my 1997 Nissan XE 4x2 pickup. It starts up fine and drives fine but everyonce in a while I will come to a light and put it in nuetral and it starts to idle very rough. It only does this once in a while. I have new spark plugs, wires, cap, & rotor. The truck has 142k miles. Does anyone know what is causing this?

my 1990 had an issue like this. dealt with it for quite a while. took it to a shop after i tried all i could do and their was a wire in the harness between the engine and firewall that when above idle and under a load, the engine was torqued over enough that wire would create contact and run normal but at idle the engine would lay back to normal and pull apart the connection causing a really bad miss.

Idle air control valve has been known to be an issue sometimes. Any lights on your dash?

I have taken the truck to my mechanic and he has scanned the truck for codes. There are no check enginee lights or codes. My mechanic has also cleaned the intake and throttle body out with a BG cleaner.
