Hey guys,
I appreciate the help Ive gotten so far, but I have another question. I have tried looking specifically, but its pretty hard to search for. I found a screamin deal on a tt engine, injectors, harness, ecu, ICs and IC piping for $850. Which i think is a pretty darn good deal, but its an OBD2 car. The fella said as long as you have the proper ecu its not a terrible swap, but he said if you want to modify it it gets more tricky (probably due to the lack of support for the 96). Do any of you guys have insight on this? Should I hop on it or keep looking for another TT motor? (Or start parts gathering for an ls swap?)
Thanks in advance!

See if he will sell it to you without the harness and ecu for a little off the price. Na harnesses work fine, then just get your ecu tuned. After that your golden. You can use your na plenum and tps, cas blah blah. Either way its a good price.

See if you can buy just the engine, injectors, ICs and IC piping. Then get a pre-96 ecu, harness, cams, cam gears, vtc solenoids, and TPS. And yes an NA harness will work just fine, the only difference is that TT harnesses have connectors for the factory boost solenoids, which I doubt you will use. If you get an early style harness, you will just need to solder on the new style injector connectors, they are dirt cheap you can get them off any nissan in the junkyard.

Oh and is your car auto or 5-spd?
