When I bought my QX, those little black plastic boobies on the front bumper were smashed in and cracked. I figured I'd buy a new bumper cover, so I did. It's sitting in a bedroom at home, and it's currently holding a few pairs of my underwear, a t shirt, and a towel. I think it's time to install it.

My question is, I've noticed that many people paint the entire thing, boobs and all. I personally think that'd look hideous on anything but a black QX4. If I took this to Infiniti, do they have a mask they can slap down on top of it for painting, or should I take the time to mask the entire inner portion myself, and then take it to some other place to paint it?

I doubt Infiniti has anythign special... they probably mask it (if they have a body shop in-house) The Infiniti dealership by my house outsources all their paint work to a local body shop.... Yeah don't paint the grill and boobies.... Looks better black plastic...

Sweeeeeeet. . good info, thanks sir. I'll mask it myself and take it to the local Honda dealer (they have the best paint shop in town)

About right I think. . I was quoted about 430 for the hood and bumper of my 240sx. That included labor though. . .

I'm fairly certain I can get my front bumper painted for a lot less since it's not attached :o
