I have the Xenon headlights and just did a high beam replacement. When I tested it, I noticed the foglights turn off when the high beam was on and then come back on when the high beam turned off. Being a new owner of this car, I don't know if this is normal or not?

Yes, since high beams are never used in fog as the reflection reduces visibililty.

Do you have an owner's manual? If not, it can be downloaded for free at

All stock setups do this, my old 84 300ZX does this too, there might be a trick to make it stop but I have not heard of it...probably more trouble than it is worth.

I just wish I could run the parking lights and fogs together.
