I have a 99 Q45t that was stumbling at lights while in drive with the brake on. It would drop the idle down and shake the whole car, almost dying out. I could not figure out for the life of me what was causing it. I know we posted previously, but noone ever really came up with a solution. I just bought this cart a few months ago and got a WARRANTY!!! Thank God! The Infiniti dealer had it for 5 days scratching their head because it wouldn't pull a code on the computer. They replaced all 8 ignition coils @ $300/ coil. All I paid was the $100 deductible. I've been driving it for a few days now, and its running smooth as can be. Hopefully thats the fix. If not, I'll take it back and keep everyone informed.

I myself suspect a bad coil, but when I switched it to the next cylinder, symptoms did not continue. The clocks still running for me.

Probably best if these posts were combined with the previous thread.

Wow, I'm having the exact same problem with my '97. Damn, I hope I won't be replacing coils. I guess I could just buy one and keep swapping them until the problem goes away. haha

don't get TOO excited....mine has disappeared for weeks at a time. I find it is 100x worse in the rain. Since I've put in my BG44k yesterday I've had nothing, but that's only about 220 miles of driving. I'm betting it's not fixed.
