After a recent service that included new coils and plugs, both knock sensors, and a converter, my TCS off and SLIP lights were on. The service tech erased the codes and the lights went out for about 10 miles and returned and stayed on. The car had a miss and wouldn't idle, but runs and idles nicely now with the lights on or off. These lights had never come on before. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Take it back to the shop and tell them that you never have had this problem before the repair. Maybe a connector was left disconnected or wiring damaged during the repair. If the shop technicians are really knowledgeable about your car, then they should know that there is a built-in diagnostic available (involves a jumper wire to Data Link Connector) that can identify the problem (relay, wheel sensor, actuator, etc.) with your car.

this is a easy solution! take it back! You paid money for them to fix a issue...hopefully they didn't cause something trying to fix the original problem.
