Dealer service should be detailed to you in terms of scope. Most is minimum to get it to roll past the expiration of OEM warranty.

Full services can cost up to $1200 when all fluids are replaced. If you dont' know the history and you have driven it 25K+ miles, time to do everything you neglected at first so you have a baseline. Time for another mechanical ATF exchange, and install the cooler this time.

25,000 miles of driving should have cost [$2500 to $3750 prorated] [maybe even $5,000 depending on what was NOT done previously and the point in the cycle] for maintence repairs, portion of tires, brakes, shocks, suspension, plugs. Prorated life of transmission, diff, engine etc.

People don't think in terms that the transmission cost more than a penny a mile to drive, maybe 2-2.5 cents if abused and not maintained.

Failure to save [auto maint/repair savings account] at least 10-12 cents per mile per month always leaves you short when time to fix something!

Buy the bushings from Joe and use a press to insert in old rod. About $35 + shipping from Joe and an hour or so of labor. Be sure they are not tightened to final torque until car is on its suspension, or you will be replacing them again soon.
