I currently have the trunk without the taillights and would like to swap out to get the "full" taillight look instead.

1. Does anyone have photos of the swap as they were going through the process?

2. Can I only use a 99 trunk with taillights or can I use a trunk from any year?

I believe the 97 and 98 trunk is what you're looking for. I haven't seen any threads with the swap, so I'm not sure if the outer lenses are the same size. You might need to check the wiring diagrams in the FSM (link in sig) to see what wires would need to be moved as well. As you know, your trunk only carries the reverse light, while the other carried 3 lenses (maybe 2 lights and a reflector? )
