My Q is stumbling at idle but I can not notice anything at speed. I was thinking a coil on plug is the issue. I did have a check engine light on but it went out on it's own. The car has 138,000 on it. So I have a feeling it's time to do them.

Hi, My 99 Q45 was doing the same thing. I changed my Knock sensors and that took care of it. I plugged in to it and pulled the latest dtc codes and that is what it said was wrong. I have all of the pic's if you need them.

Coils are most likely due for replacement but better have a free scan from Autozone and the likes for 'ghost codes.' A defective KS will store a fault code but will not turn on the CEL.
