Today I passed a little supped up Honda. He pulled up next to me at the next light and revved his motor (sounded more like it was farting from the muffler that was on it) so I rev back my q is a 99 with 185k miles no after market on it just stock. my cylinder 7 is missing out I have that code on my car along with the number one knock sensor code. We took off and was even for the first 30-40 feet. I can't mash gas on take off cause the miss have to wait till it shifts into 3rd for me to really give it gas. I only was about half way down when I finally mashed the gas my car, the rpms jumped the engine smoothed out and the engines power kicked in the car lunged ahead tiers barked and took off and left him he gave up before half quarter mile. My 99 185k mile q can still light it up when I ask her to.

you should see ATL freeway at night after 10, we're all doing 70 in a 55 mph lane, 85-90 in a 70 mph lane, and a lot of Lexus drivers can be a total B****, they'll match your speed and not let you change lanes to where I'm left with no choice but to hit the kick down switch

Damn that would be sweet. I drove though atl once going to Florida from Indiana it was like 3am so no traffic. I seen that there r a lot of lanes I thought that I would hate driving in rush hour there. I live in Indiana and we have drag strips everywhere. You can take anything that's has a motor and wheels to race people it's pretty cool hang out.

For the past month or so I had thought about getting rid of my Q. Reasons being, having a lot of problems with it running properly, not the best for gas mileage, I love V8 engines but gas hogs, and expensive parts and up keep. And lastly I've it was the first car I owned that wasent a Chevy (dad is a huge Chevy guy). But after I've learned more about up keep and maintenance from this site, also seeing how strong the engine is when it's not up to par I decided to keep it. So I replaced all 8 coils last night and plugs. Took it for a drive after and drive like a dream had all horsepower back acceleration was excellent still need minor adjustments. I will be posting on here for help on them when I start. I became a bigger fan of Infiniti yesterday.
