99 Q45 leaking hose??
99 Q45 leaking hose??
My 99 Q45 has a hose that is leaking what appears to be water from the passenger side of the car?? It leaves a puddle in the garage each night. I put a cup under the car to verify that it was indeed water and it was. There seems to be a hose that comes from the body of the car on that side that it might be coming from. Should I get the car looked at or is this normal???

A/C drain tube, its normal.

To anticipate another question, the A/C compressor is running anytime the climate control is in "Auto" mode or set to Defrost. Even though you wouldn't think you'd be running the A/C in Cincy this time of year, the car does it to keep the humidity down and keep the windows from fogging up. I think it's probably better for the compressor seals anyway...
If you want to turn the compressor off completely, you need to select the "ECON" mode.
