A few months back I replaced valve cover gaskets, spark plugs and knock sensors on my '99. When putting everything back together I neglected to identify the following two hoses and if I have them on the correct locations. Each hose has a colored end (yellow and white). Located behind and below the throttle and cruise cables almost directly below the upper strut bar.

Would someone please let me know if I have them on the correct connection or do they need swapped? :gotme

TIA :bigthumb:

Identified below in circles...

I had this issue when I did my knock sensors too....
If I'm not mistaken, one of the hoses sucks, and the other one blows (in a different context, that actually means the same thing.... :bigthumb: )
If you get a CEL that says something is wrong with the MAP solenoid or something like that, chances are you've got them backwards, like I did. here's a close up view of them... oriented to the right is the front of the car of course. Good thing is, they're not difficult to get to, even with everything assembled except for the plastic engine cover.

Appreciate the response. Based on your picture, mine are the opposite. Color coded the arrow in picture to identify the two tubes. I'll swap them and see if any issues occur. Reason I'm doing this is due to a slight hesitation on acceleration and I have wondered about those two hoses since I did the repairs...

Probably EGR tube nad valve is clogged if you are experiencing hesitation.
