99 Q45 Half gauge cluster not lighting up

I took my gauge cluster out to do a LED bulb swap and so far so good only the fact that my tach and temp gauge bulbs will no longer light up. I tried to turn the bulbs around to see if it was a polarity issue but nothing. What could I have done to mess it up?

Do they work if you put the old incandescent bulbs back in?
