99 Q45 2- slightly different colored tails...

My passenger tail is slightly more orange in the clear part. I opened both tails up and both have the orange plastic inside still

Its slightly more visible in this photo. But its def. different with the lights off even.

What are any difference's in tailights.

Check the bulbs. Same or not? If so, check the sockets next.

bulbs are same.

sockets? both have the amber cage inside. Its really wierd.

Exact same bulbs? Including age? Check sockets for fit, corrosion, and integrity of the wire power and ground connections to the sockets. Then there is the brakelight control module....but we won't go there unless we really must.

Maybe one was replaced from a parkinglot incident??

I'd look for a matched set off a totaled car, and just start anew. Probably can sell yours for most fo the costs.

Those are actualy the turn signals. Reverese lights are in the trunk lid.

Ahhh. Well, one side's still leaking more red than the other. Or his signal's on.

yup in both
