99 q ac issues...

let me start by saying i'm an ac jackass. all of a suden one day my ac decided not to blow cold. i searched several sites, and after most saying its usually the pressure switch, i changed it out. then i evac the system and recharged it, allowing time to watch the gauge and make sure of no leak. still the only way the compressor kicks on is when i jump the switch. any other ideas?
