First off, i've read losts of posts trying to see if anyone has the same probs.
Just recently we've had really cold temperatures about -30 Celsius. About a week ago when trying to start up the beast in the cold it would take about 3 or 4 minites of cranking over before she started. But when running it seemed fine, good throttle reponse, no stalling, and would restart on a dime when warmed up. This same occurance happened most of last week and it progressivly warmed up to a normal temperature, but the same difficulty in starting was still present. 3 or 4 minites of straight cranking before it wanted to fire, but it would always eventually start. Finally last night i went to start it, after about 4 minites of cranking it started, so i let it warm up for 15 mins, and went to drive to my freinds house and as i pulled out of the drive way and onto the road it stalled out after applying the throttle. So i tried to restart it and it wouldent. It was at normal tepmerature, I had gas, 1/4 tank. I tried untill the battery was close to drained. And i noticed after cranking it over when i released the ignition sometimes it would do a half assed blurp then nothing. SO this morning I went out added 5 gals of super unleaded, also added 4 cups of alcahol (methyl hydrate or something) changed out the spark plugs except one, and put booster cables from my dads truck to mine so i'd have max current, and also plugged in the block heater for a couple hours. But still wouldent start. No warning or error lights are on the console. Monday i'm probably gunna get it towed in to the dealership, or any shop not too busy to get her fixed up. Seems kinda weird no warning lights, anyone have any ideas?
