Just recently my 99 Maxima stalls when trying to drive it cold. I'll start it fine, put in reverse (rpms drop a little),step on the gas and stalls right away. I'd start it up again, back out the driveway and put it in drive, car than stutters and stalls right away. Looking into the matter, my maf was clean but cleaned it a little more, Cleaned up my throttle body and iacv (dont know what a bad iacv looks like) and checked my fuel filter (no clogs, although it did start spraying gas like pressure was built up from the enging). Put everything back together, backed out the driveway(felt it stutter at the bottom) put it in drive and it stalled. Now everytime it stalled, i would let the temp rise and once it was warm I would drive off everything fine..Also, when it stalled the battery indicator light would come on, not sure if that is a default reaction but my batter is less than 3 months old. No stutter no stall. Not sure what to check next! ECTS? FPR? Im not really educated in fixing cars but get all my help searching through forums. I just cant find a fix to this. it seems to me like some sensor issue, being that it drives perfect when warm. Any suggestions? thanks!
