99 Maxima NON Bose, rear speakers quit

I think the front ones might be dead too, except for the tweeters. I bought it like this, so I assume they are blown..but blown speakers usually make SOME noise.

My question is if these cars are known for popping fuses etc ??

There are no fuses on speakers. Are they making scratching noises? They are 10 years old, so by now they may have just fallen apart.
