i put a new hood on that I bought at a used parts place. It doesnt sit correctly on my car. how and where do i make adjustments to make it fit?

If it's an aftermarket hood, you may need to shim it where the hood bolts to the hinges. It just depends on where it's off.

its off of a different '99 maxima not aftermarket.

The only adjustments are going to be at the hinges or the latch at the front.
