99 maxima GLE arm/disarm chirp

hey guys, i just got '99 GLE with the oem keyless entry/alarm. Does anyone konw how to change it so that when i lock the car with the keyless, the horn chirps? I had a '99 qx-4 that would do it so i assume this can too. I have tried holding lock & unlock simulatneously and the lights and/or horn never cycle. any other ways to go about this? thanks in advance

check the back of your remote, my instructions were on it. you might have to do a combination of lock and unlock, try to google it.

hold lock and unlock for atleast 25sec

held for up to a minute. still nothing... is there a relay or module that could be messed up?
