My car is running like crap and I'm just about done as far as Ideas on where to proceed to next. the car surges and appears to to want to stall but it does not. it is very noticeable at low speeds between 15-40 mph. it also backfires and sputters a bit at low speeds as well. I changed the plugs , MAF sensor air flilter in hopes of getting it right.all failed. I took the car to my local dealership they said i need ...a new ECM...did 'nt fix the problem....They cleaned the intake system...No dice there either..The finally said that the Rear ! and bank 1 cat convertors were clogged up...this seeem pluasible..it would explain the surge's occassinally sputtering....Well i changed out the entire exhaust system.....still have the same problem..I think the dealer is really guessing as to what the problem is and is essentially providing me know relif. I now have two codes P300 & P1320...do I need to change all of the coil packs to rectify that problem (P300) ? and how do you fix a P1320? HELP!!!!!!!!!

Hello,I have a 1999 Nissan Maxima and I'm getting the code 1320 also. Did you get any responses on how to fix this? I noticed online that it has to do with ignition signal-primary. Not sure what that is. ANy help would be apprciated.....Thanks,Jose

check a few sensors....crankshaft sensorscamshaft sensors.

I changed these out and it seemed to rectify the problem...no longer getting these codes...might also want to check your ignition coils as well
