You can replace just bulbs. Head to a local parts store to grab the bulb. Mind if the new one (even if same color temperature) will probably look different as they age, so you may want to replace both.

I've never replaced bulbs on my car - I believe the highs and lows are separate bulbs, if that's the case I'd suspect a different issue as it's suspicious both would go out at the same time. Look with your eyes - if it's one bulb, replace it. If it's 2 bulbs, then you need to look at a possible harness issue (my best guess).

Someone else will chime in regarding 1 or 2 bulbs...........now......

I would swap your bulbs left to right to see if the bulbs are actually the problem. Having a failed high beam is very unusual. Review your FSM (Factory service manual) available in our library at http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/ to see if there are relays or fuses involved that may help. As a last resort you can look for a replacement used assembly at http://www.car-part.com

Welcome to NICO!
