I am having problems with a 99 Infiniti I30. Brought it to the dealer and explained to them that the car was starting hard when it was cold and sometimes it took forever to start. They changed a few things on it and when I picked it up they told me I had to hold the gas peddle down to start it and release it when it started. After doing that a few times I noticed there was gas getting into my oil. I new it was not fixed and the dealership had no clue what was wrong. Does anyone else have the same problem or a solution to this problem?

if the dealership had no clue why there was gas in your oil. I would get the hell out of there as fast as i could. I forget but it could be a fuel pump issue.

well how cold are we talking? like winter time freezing or just on a summer morning when the engine has sat all night and just cooled down? because that could make a huge difference..

No not during the winter season. It just started about 2 months ago and the weather is between 45 or higher. So I'm not sure that it has to do with the weather. I just wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions on what could be wong.
