99 I30 not starting part #2

Okay so after checking and replacing the tps (needed it anyway) moving to the mass airflow sensor when a friend said it was the ECM and the security in the car(security light stays lit) and only an infinity dealer can reprogram and get the keys reprogrammed. Where did this come from? I have a electric start attached to the security, can i just remove it? what about resetting the security? is there a way to do that? or do i need the ecm and all that mess done at an Infinity dealer.thanks guys.

I don't believe 99s had transponder keys. 2000 and later do, but nothing earlier.

So is there a way to reset the security on the car or do i need the ecm. Im not getting fuel from the injectors when starting.

It wouldnt be the security system. It has a killswitch built in(my 98 does at least)

How much fuel pressure are you getting at the injectors
