I have a 99 frontier 4cyl 4x4 king cab. I have a bought a couple different alternator belts from part stores but none of them fit. I can run the adjustment all the way out and there's still too much deflection in the belt. I can get around the problem by sizing up a smaller belt but shouldn't have to do this with correct parts. I was wondering if maybe someone replaced the alternator before me and it came with a smaller pulley therefore not taking up as much belt. Ive already replaced the harmonic balancer so I know its not flexing in and out anymore. Anybody else with this issue?

buy your belts through Nissan. Many wholesale dealer outlets allow online ordering.
