99' Frontier VG swap

This is for my buddy, he has said truck and he wants to put a VG30DETT in it. Whats your guys opinion on this swap, can it be done?

The only information I have on record about this is when the swap in question was successfully accomplished in France on an early 90's Hardbody. Turbo and all was included. They were even able to leave the original 4wd tranmission and transfer case when they did the swap.

The truck was last seen in 2000 and I have seen nothing of it since.

Dropping it into an newer model can probably be done. It's only money after all!

Look into a VH45 swap. VG30DETT's are so 1990....lol. Nah seriously, the VH is lighter, cheaper, puts out better power and much better sound too! I am gonna do this swap this winter so I'll let ya know how it goes.

This truck has been around awhile and I know it's not a froniter but it still shows you can be done with a little ingenuity.
