99 Frontier Transmission

Hello all, Im going to have to replace the trany in my truck. I have searched high and lo and cant seem to get a good answer. So the the question is many nissan 4x4 automatics with the v6 share the same base transmission (RE4R01A) . Can anyone tell me which vehicle(xterra pathfinder or any other year fronty) will work from another nissan to my 99 frontier 4x4? heard that the pathfinder may work if the rear cone is swapped out. I would think if the transmission is a 4x4 RE4R01A than all my parts should fit on it like the tranfer case etc? Anyone know? Thanks

Should be able to swap in any 99-04 4x4 V6 auto.

The Tcase bolt pattern was the same from 86.5-2004. One of the nice things about using the same platform for many years.
