I have a 1999.5 3.3L V6 Nissan Pathfinder SE and am replacing the rear main oil seal. To do so I am removing the automatic transmission as per the service manual. I have removed all of the required components except for the rear supporting crossbar and the bolts holding the transmission to the engine.

According to the Chiltons manual and the service manual there is a bolt at the top passenger side of the transmission that holds the transmission to the engine. I have to take their word for it because it appears that the rear brake lines are routed over that bolt or are obscuring the view of the bolt.

Anyone have any tricks on how to get to that bolt to remove it?

Edit: I put this in the wrong forum, sorry. It obviously should be in the pathfinder forum. I can't seem to delete or move this so I will have to rely on the kindness of a moderator to do so. Thanks.

Moved this for you, someone should have some advice to get in there. Sometimes removing pieces to get to a bolt is the only way though.
