99-01 touring/ae xenon headlight bulbs

has anybody changed their xenon bulbs? is their anything special that has to be done prior to and after or is it just like changing out regular bulbs? is it something i can do myself or should i take it to the stealership? if somebody has done this themselves please tell me how to step by step. im tired of lookin at my lights that are different colors.

Follow the FSM. I prefer removing the whole headlamp units.

If you can change a regular bulb you can do this. The only thing special is that there is a security torq bit on the bulb cover. I requires a torq bit with a hole in the middle. However...

I have used a small flat head screwdriver to remove the screws on the bulb cover, they are not generally tight and when you get them out you can replace with regular phillips-if you like.

I bought a set of blbs off Ebay and they have about 6 months of driving on them and so far so good.
