hey guys, I recently bought a used 99-01 center cluster because I love how it came with a clock instead of the boring stock 97 one. I also sent it out to dip-tech to match my stock woodgrain, I highly recommend them since they do quality work. well anyways i just started swapping out all the wirings, controls, and radio and came to a problem.

I noticed i forgot about the clock connection that goes behind it, should there be an extra wire hidden somewhere to plug the clock in as well as the extra controls they have for the 99 and up cluster

heres a picture of my original panel.

and heres some pics of the 99-01 cluster front and back

it looks like the new one comes with the extra auto lamp switch and on the right i think thats for the rear sunshade??? correct me if im wrong.

I don't care much about the extra switch, just want to hook up the clock and the auto lamp but i noticed theres already an auto lamp on the left side of the steering wheel..

need some help here plz. thanks in advance

this is on my one of these days list, as the analogue clock is class and the digital makes me grimace every time i get in the fgy33 after driving the g50s.

you will need to wire in the clock, +12v constant battery, ground, and dashboard illum. the spare auto lamp switch can be just that: non-functional spare, or put in a blank face in place of the switch. yes, the far right from the front is the rear sunshade.good thing the climate control connectors (2) are the same.
