Hello,

I've replaced calipers and pads many times but never done an overhaul.

I was wondering if someone could guide me as to how difficult it is to rebuild one if I order the overhaul kit from Infiniti?

Any special tools needed?

Thanks,Don

If they're like the earlier models you'll need snap ring pliers for the rears.

At this time I'll just do the fronts. How hard is it to fit the new seals and piston boots onto the caliper?

Do I simply remove the caliper and all parts, fully clean the parts and then reasseble?

Don,I was wondering if you could write a how-to article about the caliper overhaul procedures after you finish? It will be posted on http://fgy33.tripod.com for many people to share. I think the Y33's are getting old and sooner or later, all of our Y33's caliper will need to be brought back to factory specifications. Thanks for your help.
