Does the coil in this distributor have the same voltage output as the S13 external coil setup..??

I found this link on the jim wolf site and i was wondering if this is what i need to do to convert from my current internal coil to an external coil.... providing that the external DOES have more voltage output..

If they are the same, then im not gonna convert:

the internal coiled dist. (s14's) are jsut fine til about 400rwhp, jsut ask ryan (klattr1) its not that hard to wire in a msd box anyway.

jsut gap the plugs tighter and you will be fine off stock igniton

Thats the DOC I am going to use to convert mine to the S13 dist...

In fact I am going to do that in about 1 hr. So once I'm done I'll post how hard it is. And how long it took...
