ok, i know many people have tried looking for this stuff before, and i know im not the only one that has asked this, but if someone nice enough to help me out id appreciate it.

<a href="http://s129.photobucket.com/albums/p225 ... ure736.jpg" target="_blank">a>

<a href="http://s129.photobucket.com/albums/p225 ... ure737.jpg" target="_blank">a>

does anyone have the wiring shematic for this plug. its hard trying to find a clear one that is easy to read.

<a href="http://s129.photobucket.com/albums/p225 ... ure739.jpg" target="_blank">a>

<a href="http://s129.photobucket.com/albums/p225 ... ure740.jpg" target="_blank">a>

does anyone know where the cut wires go to . they never had clips on them or anything, and its driving me nuts looking at them.

<a href="http://s129.photobucket.com/albums/p225 ... ure738.jpg" target="_blank">a>

Plug 1. That looks like the plug that you use to actually splice the harness into the car. Dont know where you can get a good schematic, you going to have to use the R33 FSM wire schematic and find somebody thats good with wiring.

2. By where the wires are located, and looking at those 2 thick white wires, look like they go to the plug that connects the lower harness to the upper harness. Those 2 thick wires look like they go to the knock sensor signal wire (shielded) and there should be 2 smaller wires that should be the same color that connects to the knock sensors as well, they should be black. The white wire and black wire are joined together into 1 shielded wire that goes to each knock sensor plug, so that should be 4 of the wires. 2 other wires goes to the Air Regulator plug, that sits underneath the intake plenum, its usually a blue plug. If its the connector im thinking of then that should knock down 6 wires out of that bundle. it look like the wires that goes to the plug im thinking of.

3. Offcourse that plug goes to your ECU, i believe a Z32 or J30 main ecu plug will work, you just have to re-pin the whole thing correctly, i know alot of poeple are using the 300zx ecu's for NISTUNE, so that connector should work, you have to go to the junkyard.

Hope that helped some.

Have you tried Hybridz.com for Z31 wiring help? There's someone over there by the name of Racinjitter who has an RB25 in a Z31, maybe he can help.

I have a question too... what are these wires for? It is a red connector with two wires (orange and black on the harness side)

what are these two wires for? What is this? and shall I do with it, putting my rb25det into s14?

Those 2 wires are near the windshield wiper motor plug, you should transfer the power wires out of it if you need a source for teeing into the car.

the extra plug isnt needed, the larger of the 2 is the dash harness ( start signal, fuel, MIL / CEL, IGN / TACH, and water temp that will need to be cut into your 240sx dash harness

Hope that helps

these wire harnesses arent as easy as they look. there should deff be one page describing exactly what eac h clip goes to and what no. sometimes the wiring diagrams just arent enough

Can anyone axplain how the power feed works on the RB25 series 2? I finished connecting all the wires to the dash (the 3 R32 plug are now on the RB25 harness). But I still can't figure out how the power goes...On the plug (8 pin) near the power steering I have 7 wires which are:1. Green/red = signal to A/C2. Yellow = ????3. Green/orange = Neutral switch4. Light blue = Power steering idle up5. Blue/red = wiper IGN6. (thick)Red = ????7. (thick)Red/blue = ????Hope someone could help.

I traced the smaller plug back and I believe they go to the coils....correct me if I'm wrong. If so how do the coils get power on the S2 engine?

I am swapping a series 2 rb into my 89s13 i am also wondering where that plug goes. the small yellow wire traces up to the purple connector that goes to the air valve (i think) on the intake. And most of those seven wires go to the extra plug down by the ecu, besides g/o, g/r and l/b. I need some help as well with the power to the injectors and the s13 swap if anyone knows info for the series 2 swap. haven't been able to find much info on the series 2 into the s13, and definitely haven't found a good wiring diagram for the series 2.

Trying not to steal this thread, but I've done some searching as well (before I posted) And I did come across the link (:http://www.rbforums.org/pics/rb25s13.jpg [ cause I'm trying to go from a 89 auto to a rb25det man]) Could someone help explain to me why or what I'm suppose to do with the

1) Water temp2) Tach out?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they're asking for the pin 1 on the KA harness, and yet its suppose to be Blue/Black, than magically turn into Yellow/Red?

Thanks in advance guys!Namco
