my qx4 is in serious need of new shocks/struts. I've searched the Internet and I think I've figured out the shocks/struts that I need. I've read a lot on this forum and I noticed that most people seemed to think KYB shocks/struts are best so that's the brand I picked out. I'm going to take the truck to an automotive shop to have the work done (I'm not very automotively inclined...I can check the oil and put air in the tires and that's about it ) but I want to make sure I've found the correct parts before I order them.Okay, here's what I've found:KYB 335015 - GR-2 Gas Shocks and Struts - Front Right-HandKYB 335016 - GR-2 Gas Shocks and Struts - Front Left-HandKYB 343379 - GR-2 Gas Shocks and Struts - I think I need 2 of this one - one for the Rear right-hand side and one for the Rear left-hand side.

Hopefully someone out there will be able to help me.

Thank you!!

Well you just look it up online. I get mine from Shox.com and have them sent. e-bay has some but I don't get into e-bay personally.

The rear is 2 bolts a side and is very easy. You might need to liquid wrench/wd 40 them first, but then just 2 bolts and thats it. Save your money and do these yourself. About like an oil change hard at most.

Have the front installed.

KYB gas are the nice setup. They will work fine unless you are going to beat the heck out of it. Not some cheap shocks.

You just give your year and model and they will tell you your options and give advice. Prices are good.
