98 qx4: fogs dont work

i checked all relays and fuses and they were fine. I have no clue what to do. The bulbs are also brand new. any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a multimeter turn the fogs on and off and check for voltage at the lamp connector to make sure your getting voltage at the fogs. Your headlights have to be on for your fogs to turn on if you haven't done the fog mod

i do not have a multi meter i pulled the assembly today and nothing seemed torn up. I will look around i shud have a multi meter somewhere. thanks slick. your interior looks amazing btw

have you done a fog mod or tired one?

It could also be the button that turns your fogs on do you have pictures, yours is a 98 so im not 100% sure of what your dealing with

I havent done the fog mod yet. in a 98 fogs turn on the same switch as my headlights. everything on the switch works but the fogs. did you want pics of the switch or the fog casing

btw man did you need anymore help with picking headrest monitors? and you saw the post with the video signal booster right?

sorry the only thing i had with me when i was working was my phone there is a blue and black wire going into the housing blue goes to bulb black looks to be the ground( as the color indicates)

I didn't see the video signal booster, and i think i need to wait on getting monitors its still out of my price range unless you know somewhere with good prices.

your gonna need a multimeter, I say this because the only way to make sure that the components you checked already are good is if there is power at the bulb when the switch is on

you said you got new bulbs, so it has to be the switch , a fuse or a relay. i highly doubt your wiring has been severed but you never know

alright man thanks for your help if you give me your price range and an idea of what you want i can look. (screen size, resolution, with or with out ir signal for wireless headphones, dvd player built in, etc.) i'd be glad to take a look for you and i put a few links in my old topic random qx4 pics.
