'98 nissan sentra help.

ok so i am new to this forum. and so far it is cool. but i am a 98 Sentra owner,everything is all stock. sigh. and i wanted to know what i should look for in a new engine/motor. intake body kits, tires. lights. everything. if you cant tell, i am a new to cars too. ha. but they are awesome. so yeah. help would be awesome.

Take a look around and you'll find plenty of options.

Your stock engine doesn't have much aftermarket support, so if you have the money and the time you're better off swapping an SR20 in. If you have deep pockets, you could even put a VQ35 in. That said, it may be simpler to just put an intake and exhaust on (both of which are available for the GA16 you have) and keep it simple. It's a Sentra after all, and reliable, economical daily transportation is sorely underrated.

Wheel selection is somewhat limited because of the high offset required to fit. Still, there are plenty out there. Use a site like Tirerack that will find fitments for you.

There aren't many tasteful body/lighting mods out there for the 95-99 Sentra/200SXs. Still, if you're willing to look you'll find some. Generally you'll be stuck with Ebay parts, which means you'll hit and miss on quality, sadly.

how much would the SR20DE be? i heard that it would be a little under a grand.

A DE can be had for as little as 500. Higher power (read: imported) ones can be had for up to 1500 or so.
