Is my battery dying? My car vibrates with the headlights on while staying stopped at a light. I put on the fog lamps and then it vibrates a little more. In the day time you could barely feel any vibration. My battery in load meter tested at 11 volts under a load with car off. Without load it was 12.9 volts. That vibration just makes the car seem crappy. I want a perfect idle.

Does the idle dip lower too? Maybe your alternator is starting to go out, or your idle control valve is getting clogged up.

And the idle control valve... might be worth giving the car the seafoam treatment.

According to me show your car to the mechanic or to the car servicing company. They will suggest you the exact problem and also the solution to the problem. They will also help you to repair it accordingly.
