drove car 3days ago and forgot to cut off the lights right by the rear view mirror..battery went dead and i recharged it...

i have tried to crank car now but it wont come on, it acts like its about to come on but just keeps rolling but wont crank. Im thinking gas has not circulated around the system, and pumped the accelerator but still no good.

could this be the alternator went bad when lights were on(for 3days) or fuel pump or what? any ideas?
